ADDON EVENT - Introduction to Material Creation, Tilables and Trims.

I recently had the opportunity to do a talk at a French event called Addon, where I fulfilled a long-standing desire to share insights into Material Creation. While there are countless tutorials on creating specific surfaces in software like Substance Designer and Substance Painter, there's a noticeable lack of resources addressing production constraints and, even more so, Art Fundamentals. These were primary topics I covered extensively during my mentorship, and I'm grateful for the chance to present a talk on them.

This presentation is tailored for junior or aspiring Material Artists and I mainly set the table rather than explaining everything which would take weeks. My hope is that it's engaging, offers valuable cues, and maintains the integrity of concepts despite simplification. Cheers!
