Gravel Road

I had this image of a gravel road chunk in my mind for a while and wanted to do something about it. Materials with that type of border are really fun to work on. The fact that it was a non square material was also cool as it gives more opportunites to add features and play with shapes.

This project is composed by two main graphs, one for the soil and one for all the layering that create the gravel road. Most of the Atlases were quicly sculpted in ZBrush before spreading them and adding details in Designer. I always found it convenient to work this way as it gives more room for iteration but is also less destructive, asside from the fact that it's more fun ^^ .
I might share the ressources of that project like my previous project if anyone is interested.
