Painterly Riverbed Recipe

Time are a bit tough so I wanted to focus on something soothing. I went with a Ghibli backgrounds inspired material as I found those very reconforting.
This material is inspired by Princess Mononoke riverside environments (the one when Ashitaka meet San).

___

I built it with a reusable mindset by turning the layering and painting steps into generators. It allows me afterward to feed any other heighmap and produce a new material with the same vibe.
The first material is the base riverbed I built my generators with. Then you have the version with few heads I quickly sculpted to test the versatility of my setup.

___

For this project I end up with 3 different generators, one for the stone, one for the moss and one for the water level and layering.
I like to do that for material series as it's really helpful to win time down the line, keep things visually consistent and build more robust materials.

___

I hope people will find it as soothing to look at as it was to work on it.
Cheers
